History

In 1931, Dr. Frank Warner of Columbus gave his new bride, Carmen Hambleton, an unusual wedding present: ninety-four acres of old farmland in southern Fairfield County. Mrs. Carmen Hambleton Warner named the property “Wahkeena.”
