  1. I have bees and speak to various groups about them. No-one realises their wings wear out. This is a perfect photograph to show the wing damage caused by air pollution. Would you allow me to use this illustration in my talks? Roughly how long does it take for this to happen? I get quite a few Dragonflies in my garden as I have a large pond, 2,500 gallons. They are the most beautiful sight in my garden and once, about 6 years ago, I had the privilege of watching a nymph emerge from the pond and turn into a dragonfly. Magical.
